Fall Gallery Night, October 16,2009

Maybe a harvest moon?   That would be a perfect addition to the three artists we are featuring for Gallery Weekend.  Michele Friedman from Chicago sent a lovely display of her felt and sterling pieces.  The colors fit well with the falling leaves.  Mary Jaeger, a fiber artist from NYC, sent a range of beautiful wraps and scarves.  Leave your coat at home and wrap yourself in one of the wool/silk wraps.  And, finally, introducing Stacey Webber and her money jewelry.  I have to admit that the sound of it was not that exciting to me, BUT wait until you see it.  She is bringing necklaces, earrings, bracelets and cufflinks.  Let’s give a warm welcome to Stacey, who just joined the UW-Milwaukee faculty in Fine Arts.    Warm apple cider and Halloween treats will be served.
